About Bolina

Bolina, headquartered in the United Kingdom with strategic partners worldwide, is the European leader in marine safety, security and environment booms for inland waterways, ports, dams and critical infrastructure.

 

Its mission is to keep these healthy, safe and secure. Early 2020, Bolina was acquired by Ecocoast, a global leader in engineered products for the protection of coastlines and waterways.

The acquisition allows you to have access to an unmatched range of marine products for coastal and marine protection, demarcation, navigation, safety and security purposes globally.

    Tees Barrage – Bolina’s longest and most challenging site protecting the Tees Barrage from 1,000’s of tonnes of debris with a PDB600.

    British Waterways were so impressed with the performance of the Tees Barrage boom compared with others that they had tried that they added a further 80m long environmental boom to the Tees which remains there to this day.
