VISIT BOLINA AT RENEXPO INTERHYDRO
Bolina will be present at the RENEXPO INTERHYDRO exhibition and congress in Salzburg, Austria, from March 3-4 2022.
March 3-4 2022 will see industry experts gather in Salzburg, Austria, for Europe’s premier exhibition and congress for the hydropower industry. The event, RENEXPO INTERHYDRO, initially postponed due to the rising cases of COVID-19, is a two-day event that demonstrates the contribution of hydropower to the global energy mix as a climate-neutral, safe, affordable and sustainable energy supply.
More than 120 exhibitors will be showcasing a wide variety of hydropower products from many specialist areas, with the exhibition floor segmented into different product categories. These categories include plant construction, water intake and power generation, quality control, measurement, and finally, safety devices. Consultants and service provides will also be a part of the event.
In all, more than 2,500 industry members are expected to visit the exhibition, so as to access the lucrative business and networking opportunities available, while also learning about water as a renewable energy resource.
As the European leader in marine safety, security and environmental booms for inland waterways, ports, dams and critical infrastructure, Bolina will be present over the course of the two-day congress and exhibition, interacting with other industry experts from across Europe and sharing knowledge and experience, while also creating new contacts.
Our Regional General Manager, Filip Stefanovic, along with Christian Wallmeyer, Bolina’s German agent, will be at RENEXPO INTERHYDRO, where they will showcase our range of products relevant to the hydropower industry, including our Debris Booms, Safety Booms, Security Booms, Aids to Navigation, Jellyfish Nets and Oil Booms.

The conference matters because it is a central meeting platform between Eastern and Western Europe for hydropower industry experts,” said Stefanovic, who also encouraged attendees to visit Bolina’s exhibition space to see first-hand the work we have done.
Of particular interest to visitors will be our Debris Booms, which include the only flush-faced permanent booms currently available on the market today. Our booms have been deployed on hydropower projects around the world and have shown remarkable success in keeping sluice gates and intake areas clear of debris and dangerous objects. Thanks to their simple construction and ease of maintenance, they are amongst our most popular products for the protection of critical infrastructure.
Coincidently, the dates of the event line up with the second anniversary of Bolina’s acquisition by Ecocoast – a move that meant that our clients have an unmatched range of environmental, safety and security solutions available globally. With our integration activities fully complete, we are now operating at full capacity in the new normal, with several new projects in the pipeline.
Therefore, in 2022, we will be focusing on building client relationships and business development activities, starting with our presence at RENEXPO INTERHYDRO, where we intend to showcase the best of what we have to offer to the hydropower industry.
