Hemi Ball Booms

Bolina Hemi Ball Booms are ideal for nearshore applications, inland waterways, marinas, private water bodies and nature reserves. They are commonly used for beach markers, small channel identifiers and other uses where a floating line of demarcation is required.

The floats are designed to fit onto stainless steel wire ropes of between 8mm and 12mm diameter.

The hidden fixing system provides a secure attachment to the wire, which allows for a variable pitch or spacing to meet client requirements. The floats of the Bolina Hemi Ball Booms are easy to handle and are added to the wire rope using simple hand tools.

The high-quality polyethylene material used for the outer skin is highly resistant to the damaging effects of UV light and colour fade over time, ideal for applications in high UV environments.
Additional visibility is achieved compared to other booms because of the spherical shape, allowing them to float higher on water.
